Karissa Campbell is a marketing and public relations professional with a Bachelors of Science degree in Communications and Journalism from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. (2001) She has nine-plus years of experience in the communications industry, and joined Jaymie Scotto & Associates one year ago. In her role as Marketing Researcher and Event Planner, Karissa is responsible for press release writing, creation of marketing collateral, researching trade shows, speaking opportunities, and award opportunities for clients, researching venues and vendors for various marketing and PR initiatives, and more.

Karissa also heads the marketing and advertising projects for her small business, Creative Insight Design of CT. Previously, she worked for five years as Email Marketing Coordinator for Nexus Energy Software (now Aclara Software), a utility marketing and software firm headquartered in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Throughout the duration of her career, Karissa has gained the knowledge and expertise necessary to launch various types of marketing campaigns and write successfully for both the web and print marketing materials. In addition, she is a very competent writer with impressive editing skills.

Additionally, Karissa is a proud wife and mother of two children, Autumn and Brady. She loves pugs, and has two of them – Isabelle and Otis. In her spare time, Karissa loves to write, reads the latest best sellers, practices yoga, and enjoys conversation with good wine.
