Making the business case for peering starts with the fact that one provider will never have all the customers. Do you know what Telehouse is doing to solve their problem of multi hour long outages on the NYIIX platform? Are they upgrading their hardware or management team?

Thank you for your query Paul. The outages were due to software issues through the Brocade system. Brocade identified the root cause of the issues and Telehouse upgraded the software in October 2011. NYIIX has been very stable since then.

I was referring to the ones going on once a month for the past year. Don’t you think it’s a bit out of place to blame the issues on bad code, or say they’ve stopped, when the issue is chronic?
