Sitting strong among the world’s largest global backbone providers, Tinet’s IP backbone ranks sixth among the top 15.  The top 15 in order of rank include:  Sprint, Level 3, Global Crossing, Savvis, TeliaNet, Tinet,NTT, MCI/Verizon Business, TATA, AT&T, Telecom Italia, Qwest, Cogent, Cable & Wireless and PCCW.  This is a tremendously strong position for the Italian HQ company.  It was less than a year ago that Tinet was bought by BS Private Equity and separated from its former parent Tiscali.  The year has proved Tinet a success as it continues to climb the rankings charts.
